" Tide's End Farm, a bed-and-breakfast tucked away on a turtle-shaped spit of land off Sheepscot Bay called the Knubble. The location is Georgetown, a fishing town just southeast of Bath...you can take lessons, or just relax and read on the screened porch overlooking the cove....Liia Becker is a perfect host, welcoming, but never hovering. The bed-and-breakfast is set in a white clapboard, 1770s farmhouse, one of the last remaining original homes in the area, which Becker has updated. It's not too fussy, and plenty comfortable, with polished pine floors, fresh flowers in the bedrooms, and a screened-in porch."

Tide's End Farm offers you comfortable accommodations in the historic 1770's farmhouse. You may feel like you have stepped back in time looking out on the rolling fields, apple orchards, stone walls and the ocean surrounding this saltwater farm. The floors are mostly pumkin pine polished wood and they are the original floorboards.

It is rare for Maine to have long, wide sandy beaches and we are lucky enough to have Reid State Park just a few minutes drive from us. There you will find Mile and Half Mile beach, huge sand dunes and breeding grounds for many endangered birds. Again a wonderful opportunity for hikers, photographers and beach goers. Check out the history of the area at the amazing Georgetown Historical Society. Many people have contributed to make this a wonderful resource for history buffs.

Newsflash
The farmhouse overlooks apple orchards and fields to Knubble Bay on the Maine coast. The charachter of the house has been preserved, while updating for comfort. Tide's End Farm has been in business since 2001 when Liia Becker moved back to Georgetown. Liia's Grandparents had bought the house in the early 1960's as a summer home and it has been in the family ever since.
